Natalie Zimmerman, a 4th generation New Yawker, loves to play characters who use comedy consciously or subconsciously to cover a rich inner life bubbling beneath the surface.
The power she radiates on stage, belies her 5 foot stature. Although she has played her share of ingenues, she can also harness a bad ass energy that commands the attention of her fellow actors and her audience.
Smitten with her acting class at age 10, Natalie later attended LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts, the Northwestern Cherubs Program, received her BA in drama from Kenyon College, and spent a semester abroad in London at BADA.
She is currently finishing an acting residency in the highly competitive program at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater where she played the role of Ellen in A Christmas Carol. Currently she is the understudy for the Nurse and Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet and had the opportunity to perform the role of Lady Capulet in early March 2025.
From fragile waifs to intimidating royals, Natalie strives for a career that will enable her to inhabit the full range of human experience through the eyes of a small but mighty presence.
